Twin/Triple Screw Pumps

Screw pumps are rotary positive displacement pumps that have twin or triple screws. A set of intermeshing screws consisting of two driving screws and one idler screw form cavities into which fluid enters before being driven along the idler screw by the two driving screws towards the outlet in triple screw pumps. Screw pumps are typically run at full motor speed to ensure low shear.

Key Features:
• Even when working with low viscosity fluids, high pressure boost capabilities are available.
• When handling heavy crude, this pump has one of the highest overall efficiencies.
• Pump design is simple, with only three rotating parts and one shaft seal.
• Pulse-free flow with extremely low levels of vibration and noise

The twin and triple screw designs offer complete axial balancing of the rotating screws, while their timing technologies eliminate metal-to-metal contact within the pump. They are low-noise, nearly pulsation-free, and require little fluid agitation, making them ideal for use with corrosive and non-corrosive liquids, low or high viscosity, and clean or abrasive liquids.
