Based on Blackmer® industry-standard LGLD3 transfer pump, the LGL3021, which is part of the Cavitation Line of sliding vane pumps, replaces competitive pumps without changing piping connections or motor drives. The LGL3021 is ideal for filling a bobtail or transport truck – the LGL3021 can do it faster and more efficiently than competitive models. This pump is UL listed for use on propane, butane butane/propane mixes and anhydrous ammonia.
Features and Benefits
Pumps are listed by Underwriters Laboratory for both LPG and anhydrous ammonia (NH3) service
Cavitation suppression liner design for reducing the noise, vibration, and wear normally caused by entrained vapors
Replaceable casing, liners and end discs allow easy rebuilding of the pumping chamber to like-new condition
Ductile-iron construction with internal relief valve
Durable pumps for fast and quiet operation, providing sustained performance and trouble-free operation
Includes double-ended drive shaft arrangement, allowing pump to be easily positioned for clockwise or counter-clockwise shaft rotation
Blackmer mechanical seal and ball bearing construction provide maximum reliability
Symmetrical bearing support assures even loading and wear for long life
Relief valve protects pump against excessive pressures
External ball bearings are isolated from pumpage by mechanical seals to maximize bearing life and minimize contamination risk
Advantages of sliding vane technology:
Unique sliding-vane pump design self-adjusts for wear to maintain flow rates
Excellent self-priming and dry-run capabilities
Sliding vane design provides sustained performance and trouble-free operation
Easy maintenance: vanes can be easily replaced without removing the pump from the piping system
